Objective:
All of us go through life with emotional ups and downs, especially at this juncture where we are caught unprepared by the world's recent economical down turn, and as a result, many of our clients are faced with loss, grief, anxiety, confusion, depression, or even suicidal.
Therefore, as helping professionals, it is our hope that, with Dr. Homeyer's profound life experience and professional expertise, we will be able to upgrade ourselves to be more effective not only in dealing with our clients struggles, but also with our own needs and develpoment.

Workshop (2): Professional Supervision Training

Objective:
Supervision is critical for the professional development of inexperienced play therapists. Passing along one’s knowledge and experience is a primary way to give back to the profession and the world of children and families. A supervision model will be given with live practice of videotapes supervisee sessions. Several other techniques will also be taught and practiced. For those who have been trained in play therapy and need to be more effective.
Open to:Those who have recently completed SAPET's 50 contact hrs in Play Therapy,
OR practicing as play, sandtray or expressive therapists,
OR those who have completed at least 20 contact hrs conducted by Dr. Homeyer,
OR its equivalent.
