Mr. Ng furthered his study at the University of North Texas (UNT) in 1999, after being in the counselling field for 20 years. He was awarded an in-state tuition scholarship by the Centre For Play. Mr. Ng was a student of  Dr. Garry Landreth,the director and founder of the Center For Play at UNT. He also learnt art therapy from Dr. Gussack at the State University of Emporia, Kansas. Prior to USA, Mr. Ng attended a summer course in expressive arts at the European Graduate School in Switzerland.

Mr. Ng now runs his own privete clinic with various therapeutic modalities such as play, expresssive arts  and sandtray therapy. He is a well-sought-after trainer, public speaker on parent-child topics such as "How to stress prove your child", "The 5 emotional needs of your child", "Enter your child's world through play and art", "Do YOU Spoil Your Child", and "Effective parent-child relationship Building".

Since 2000, he has conducted workshops locally and overseas, and trained more than our thousand preschool, primary, secondary, and college teachers/ counsellors, held seminars for more than ten thousand parents at various schools and organisations both locally and overseas.

Prior to the above-mentioned experience, he received his education in New Zealand in the 70's at the Wellington Polytechnic, School of Design(now Massey University in Wellington), where he graduated as an industrial designer. Later in early 80's, he pursued his master program Hong Kong with major in counselling.
